"Running Line"

Earlier in the winter The Significant Otter shoveled out a patch in front of the cabin and put up a running line for Bird-Dog, along with a new stash of fresh straw for the house. But we also have a feisty red squirrel who's claimed the yard as his turf, which he regularly reminds everything within earshot.

That said, during the drawing of this panel I learned what a challenge it is to depict a squirrel flipping someone off, but as with the infamous mitten, I mastered it with all due diligence.
