"Frequent Flier"

The Arctic Tern's legendary migratory route is a scientific wonder of epic scale, one that no man-made mockery could ever hope to emulate.
Like the Bald Eagle, Raven and Magpie, the Arctic Tern is a ubiquitous ornithological presence around this neck of the woods. And along with moose & mountain alike, sometimes long-time residents become aesthetically anesthetized to the presence of what tourists don't take for granted, and so as of late, with my new-found eyes of wonder, I've been delighting in the commonplace.
