Dip-nets adorn many an Alaskan domicile, and I caught sight of one on the side of a garage on my way home, with a bag of greasy fast-food by my side. "Where do you get your ideas?" Regular readers will recall a recent piece that explains my answer in detail here.
Not that I ever actually have eaten a McDonald's Filet-O-Fish sandwich in many many years, to their credit it's Alaskan pollock - reminding me of another closely related faux fish favorite from my time in Maine.
