The title of this post was omitted from the panel itself for the published print version, and I also didn't include the question mark from the original doodle. It's in part due to the instinct for editing - saying less is more, and not spoonfeeding obvious punchlines by empowering readers the satisfaction in connecting the dots on their own.
Also at the time this was done it was salmon season, and so many of my acquaintances were posting pics of their subsistence harvest. Similarly one of the reasons this unfiltered image of peeling birch bark in the sunlight caught my eye amidst the forest while on a saunter through our neck of the woods.
