"Birdwatching"

My recent experimentation with birdwatching have been steadily producing results, as the hand to eye coordination gets more practiced at tracking flighty sightings. The mind really doesn't get to wander all that much, so it's a prefect activity to relax keep the sense occupied while listening for calls and watching for movement. Astute readers might recognize a panel from an earlier post, which was the winning selection from a bunch of "realistic" renderings. This incubated in my sketchbook for quite a while as individual panels were slowly filled in, like pieces of a puzzle. Almost typeset the original lettering as it was unintelligible ballpoint pen.
