Bearded Seal

Ballpoint pen + Sharpie sketch of a Bearded seal (a dead one, natch) done while on a field-trip to the Museum of the North. Done as a demo on how to both work up a reference sketch from pencil, and how to use various textures to render volume and provide a range of value. That and they really do look pretty funny...
