24-Hour Comics Day 2013 Alaska!

Grab yer Sharpies - here we go again!

Join thousands of artists in hundreds of places around the world as they attempt to each create their own twenty-four page comic in just 24 consecutive hours. This year will be hosted once again by the awesome folks at The Comic Shop (Eagle Plaza at 3rd + Steese), or visit their Facebook page. Starts at 12noon on Saturday, October 5th, and runs straight through to 12noon on Sunday the 6th.

This year will be the sixth I've personally participated in, and the eighth annual event overall for the Interior. We are always joined by a wide range of talent and skill, from amateurs to professionals, and it always puts a great perspective on what one can accomplish in just one day of intensely focused output. For some recaps on past events here's the posts from last year, 2010, and 2009. Link to the official website here, and the 24-hour Comics Day blog here.

Come draw for a day, or just drop by to check out the works-in-progress...
