Outdoor Show: Table-Top III

A familiar style on this tabletop spread for the FAPLIC booth at the recent weekend-long Fairbanks Outdoor Show. The laminated scenario, done with a medley of scented markers, was enhanced with an array of little figures, critters and toys to populate and navigate the landscape. It made for an interactive challenge to find the moose/bear/wolf prints scattered about while playing in the Great Outdoors. That and an opportunity to indulge in a habit of drawing on diner place-mats but on a grand scale.
Next year's design should sport dry-erase stamps of boot treads for the youngsters to plot their own path through the wilderness, and a bonus lesson in "Leave No Trace" ethic when wiping up afterwards.
