I doodled this mostly from memory in my sketchbook while inbetween errands: trying to catch a second wave atop a couple double-shots of expresso, and endlessly looping the theme to John Carpenter's "The Thing." Rarely get interrupted with such an accompanying expression as one might imagine. Might be the basis for a full-blown painting homage to mark the passing of a big influence in my adolescence. Definitely need to add a haunted cabin in the background though, toss in some northern lights, bloodsucking mosquitoes etc.
