Another seemingly obscure juxtaposition between slang and a species of fish familiar to only probably an even smaller section of seafaring Alaskans. Bonus points if you can make out the uber-geek reference, made somewhat easier by the fact that this version has a handful of color highlights.
There will be a sizable influx of comparatively boring posts of published panels making there way onto the blog, as I seem to be going through a phase where I'm just scanning stuff straight from the sketchbook and using those versions for printing. This means most of the time there isn't any sketches or thumbnails, and I'm using dip-pens in the sketchbook instead of the usual ballpoints.
All that being said, there's no shortage of supplementary material that steadily accumulates on my desktop for sharing - like this classic from Segar.
