Blown Off Course: "Plover's Leap" & The Raven That Refused to Sing

As a result of strange incidences with bizarre weather patterns up here (and across the entire planet it seems), one of my friends discovered a stranded and starving Common Murre on her road - a very long way away from its normal habitat. This aberration was repeated across the state, in conjunction with some truly alarming "canary in the coal mine" caliber occurrences of massive (thousands of birds) die-off down in SouthEast.

It's by a recent favorite musician of mine, Steve Wilson (Porcupine Tree) + animator Jessica Cope: an aching, beautiful piece and an example of how a rare, transcendent collaboration between two artists can achieve true synergy.
