I'll have some comics + cartoons on display at Ursa Major Distilling (website here + Facebook page here), which has relocated their digs to the old Annex location out on the Parks Highway en route to Ester. Really nice folks making an exceptional product in a great space, this will be an opportunity to sample some high quality, hand-crafted beverages, which may or may not enhance one's viewing and aesthetic appreciation of the work.

It'll be a sort of retrospect that showcases the best of the cartoon feature from over the past year, all in all a few dozen pieces plus some selected highlights from recent memory. Think of an exploded comics page all over the walls... and here's a quick little spot that shows the spread with some bonus action shots behind the scenes:
Along with the usual Nuggets, I'll be displaying selected excerpts from my sketchbook, all of the 24 Hour Comics Day pages from this fall ("Go With the Floe"), plus the 2-page piece "Turdwatching," and the first-ever public posting of a special 4-page piece that was started over the summer, and just finally reached completion in the form of another special collaboration with one of my favorite local musicians - more about that project on Sunday's post...
