"Alaska Metamorph"

Metamorph being the term for any species of flatfish. Half my life that was in reference to flounders, nowadays it's halibut. And the concept is rooted in an actual event when I turned down designing a salmon tramp stamp for an enthusiastic (and optimistic) young woman, who, as opposed to this mutating cartoonist who spends entirely too much time sitting down at either a drawing table or computer, managed to maintain their personal appearance and standards of beauty well into their middle age. In other words, turned out decades later that the jokes literally on me!
