Making Faces: Carlo Vinci

Came across this gem while trolling the image-search archives of LIFE photos (hosted by Google), which is always a great way to waste lose spend some time. The picture is of Carlo Vinci, a cornerstone animator with Hanna-Barbera, catching - or researching - the perfect expression for the character "Fred" from the feature The Flintstones (the studio also created Tom & Jerry, Scooby-Doo, Yogi Bear, The Jetsons, The Smurfs etc.).
