Gilley Beach

As part of my continuing exploration of both Islesford and the works of Harold Warren, a recent stroll took me to yet another view of his favorite subject matter: this time over on Gilley Beach looking towards Baker Island. At the start of the bar (a causeway spanning between the two islands and exposed at low tide) is an old life-saving station, restored by its current occupant and available for rent for only a few grand a week. I was able to do a sketch in graphite + wash, and then spent some time later on rocking out a remix composition with a dip-pen.
