Some fun with perspective and foreshortening. Recently went out on a boat ride and one of these floating islands was anchored in the bay: the sheer scale of them is utterly insane. At least they're not loaded with the dreaded fire ants which infest the area.

While wandering about downtown Bar Harbor there was an obvious and sudden influx of bodies milling about, marking the docking of the first cruise ship of the season. The tidal wave of tourist mean visitor season has officially kicked into high gear, ramping up into the full-scale feeding frenzy over July + August.
