One last sample cover illustration from 1992 for the cover of Heartland magazine, Fairbanks Daily News-Miner. The feature article was about the propensity of many Alaskans to exaggerate, which is something I never indulge in myself. This particular piece earned me a thousand dollars and a lifetime subscription to the newspaper.
